Iconic brand logos are more than just a logo. They’re a way to express the values of a company and its culture. But what about when that iconic brand has been around for decades or longer? How do you keep it relevant and relatable to your customers?

We’ve got you covered! Here are 50 iconic brand logos and what their hidden meanings mean:

People like to say that you eat with your eyes first. This is certainly true of logos, which are often used to establish a brand’s identity. Logos are designed for one main reason: to be memorable and recognizable. They must be easy on the eye and convey what a company does or stands for, usually through use of color, shape, and font typeface.

For example, Apple’s logo uses white space between the apple and stalk to create an impression of transparency (literally) while also making it easy to see letters within its design (the bite taken out). In addition, the rainbow colors represent technology diversity—anyone can relate! Logos don’t always have hidden meanings behind them but many do—especially when they’re good ones such as Coca Cola’s famous logo that was created by tracing over wings in order make them look more “natural” than they actually were!
