Celebrity chefs can make hundreds of thousands a year for their cooking, but there are actually 26 celebrity chefs who have earned millions in net worth due to their work.

Alan Wong

Alan Wong is an American chef who has a net worth of $1.1 billion dollars. This makes him the richest celebrity chef in the world at the moment. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Alan Wong graduated from the Culinary Institute of America. He then worked for many years at L’Auberge de l’Ill in Alsace, France. Upon returning to the United States, he began working as the executive chef at Canoe House on the Big Island of Hawaii. In 1995, he opened his first restaurant called Alan Wong’s Restaurant in Honolulu, Hawaii. Since then he has gone on to open two other restaurants and author two cookbooks. He also won a James Beard Award in 1996 and was named Best Chef in the Pacific Region by Food & Wine Magazine that same year.
