Flu season is finally ending, but it’s been a brutal one, especially for people who live in densely populated area. Even though we won’t have to worry about the flu epidemic for much longer, experts are already thinking about next year’s flu season — and it’s important to know which symptoms to look for.

One of the most common coughs is caused by colds and flu, which is something most people have experienced. Caused by contagious viruses, these coughs are almost guaranteed to show up each year.

Experiencing a post-nasal drip after coughing?  Feeling sinus inflammation? It’s likely that you have allergies. As someone who suffers from intense pollen allergies, I can’t decide if having the flu or severe allergies is worse. Unfortunately, flu season is directly followed by allergy season, so if you get hit by both, you’ll be coughing for a while. If you’re a smoker or have asthma, your cough will sound distinctive and may even contain phlegm.
