Divorce is often a dreaded word for most children. In contrast, I welcomed it when my parent's announced their divorce when I was 15 years old. I was old enough to recognize that their was a problem, and that divorce seemed like the only outlet. While marriage is supposed to be a beautiful union between two individuals, divorce seems like an all too common life event.

What has changed that has made divorce an okay outlet? Is it our advancement in technology? Or our lack of communication? Whatever the reason, it has to change.
