What Happens To Your Body After Your Last Cigarette

Smoking is an epidemic in our world. Countries like America, Australia and parts of Europe have huge organizations working towards ending smoking, but none have completely banned the act. Unfortunately countries in Southeast Asia have some of the worst smoking laws leading to many children smoking before they’re a teenager.

Plenty of people quit smoking, and there are many medicines and regiments out there to help aid that transition. I have some friends who smoke on and off for many years, and today’s infographic will show that some of the major benefits of kicking the habit comes many years after the last puff.

Five to ten years clean is really the goal to make. This timeframe cuts cancer risks by half and reduces the risk of stroke greatly. Work to kick the habit, and kick it hard. That’s how you see the lasting benefits.
